CUSTOMER:

Major Medical Intravenous Devices Manufacturer.

PROBLEM:

To automate the electro-polishing and processing of fifty (50) syringe tips simultaneously.

SOLUTION:

Design and fabricate a system with multiple stations for the future retrofit of the many functions required for the final preparation of syringe tips. These functions, which were later installed, included loading, pre-washing, sand-blasting, re-washing, acid bathing and automatic loading.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

	Provide a system capable of operating in a cleanroom environment.
	Surgical grade, 316 stainless steel construction.
	Mechanical, vertically oscillating and rotary indexing system.

EQUIPMENT FURNISHED:

	A four (4) station intermittent motion turret.
	Two (2) indexers.
	One (1) central oscillating shaft.
	One (1) synchronized transmission.
	4" vertical lift capabilities.
